On July 22, 2022, while she was unemployed, she and Primrose were arrested in their Kapolei residence and charged with identity theft and conspiring against the government. Photos of the couple in uniforms that belonged to the former Soviet Union spy agency Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) were included in the court records.
