Hosted by Sadi Dikgaka, the Miss Botswana 2022 coronation night will take place at the Fairscape Precinct in Gaborone, Botswana on October 22, 2022. It is the 54th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Botswana’s Miss World candidate.
Currently, Botswana has three Miss World placements. Representing the African country, Emma Wareus was runner-up to Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills of the United States and Karabo Sampson finished in the Top 20 in 2011 while Nicole Lisa Gaelebale and Palesa Molefe finished in the Top 40 in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
Molefe was crowned Miss Botswana 2021 at the Limkokwing Hall of Fame in Gaborone on October 30, 2021. Michelle Mayer Bagoleng and Marang Makhoana were the respective first and second princesses.
There are 30 women competing for the Miss Botswana 2022 crown. Here are the candidates:
