Bahja Mohamoud is a Somalian entrepreneur, crypto consultant and beauty queen originally from Beledweyne, Somalia. She grew up in London, England, United Kingdom.

From London, Mohamoud moved to Minnesota, United States when she was in middle school. With a particular interest in healthcare within the Somali community, she grew up with a very early passion for medicine, mental health awareness and education.

As a teenager, Mohamoud launched her first business, a chemical dependency clinic. Its goal was to reduce the stigma of mental health conditions and co-occurring drug addiction in her community in Minnesota.

  4. From May 2017 to August 2019, she was the director of Mothers Love Childcare Centre in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, which she co-owned.
  5. In September 2017, she entered the University of Saint Thomas in St. Paul to study pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance on a pre-medicine track.
  6. From December 2017 to August 2020, she was the chief executive officer of Axis Behavioral Health in St. Cloud, which she co-owned.
  7. From January 2018 to December 2020, she was a surgical assistant at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
  8. From August 2020 to August 2021, she was a mental health associate at Beacon Specialized Living in Minnesota.
  9. After being crowned Miss World Somalia 2022, she continued to reign as Miss World Somalia 2023 because Miss World 2022 was cancelled.
  10. In 2024, she represented Somalia in the 71st edition of Miss World.
