Daria Varlamova of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia was 26 years old when she was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2021 at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins in Melbourne on October 19, 2021. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Mia Brooks, Jasmine Stringer, Ally Draper and Tiana Meehan.

Miss Universe Australia 2022 contestants

On September 9, 2022, Varlamova will crown her successor at the Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on September 9, 2022. It is the 18th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Australia’s Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, Australia has 20 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Kerry Anne Wells in 1972 and Jennifer Hawkins in 2004. The most recent one was in 2020 when Maria Thattil finished in the Top 10.
