The Miss Universe Laos 2022 coronation night will take place on October 8, 2022 in Vientiane, Laos. It is the fourth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Laos’s Miss Universe candidate.
Laos has yet to have a Miss Universe placement. Miss Universe Laos was won by Souphaphone Somvichith in 2017, Vichitta Phonevilay in 2019 and Tonkham Phonchanhueang in 2021 while Christina Lasasimma was appointed in 2020 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Phonchanheuang was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2021 in Vientiane on October 31, 2021. Manida Nenhouangmala was first runner-up while Vaniphone Phoumixay was second runner-up.
There are 20 women competing for the Miss Universe Laos 2022 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:
