Patricia Agnes “Choubi” Gildawie, a native of France, was 17 when she went missing on February 8, 1975 while her half-sister Veronique Gildawie was 19 and their mother Jacqueline Marseille Gildawie was 39. They were all residents of Fairfax, Fairfax County, Virginia, United States.

Choubi was dating a man in his 30s. He was working at an upholstery store in Vienna, Fairfax County and he owned a white Cadillac Eldorado with a red interior.

Although Choubi did not have a diver’s license, her boyfriend allowed her to drive around in his Cadillac Eldorado. She did not like adults telling her what to do, according to Veronique.

On February 8, 1975, Choubi went to Veronique’s place in Fairfax. Veronique noticed that bruises covered Choubi’s arms and legs and sprawled over her shoulders and back.

After Veronique brought up her concerns, Choubi decided to leave. That was the last time they spoke to each other.

On September 27, 2001, a construction crew found Choubi’s skeletal remains in McLean, Fairfax County. On September 26, 2022, Fairfax County Police Department detectives confirmed that the remains belonged to her.
