Amy Elizabeth Pearson, 40, of Dallas, Texas, United States is a licensed cosmetologist in Kaufman County, Texas. Aside from Dallas, she has lived in other parts of Texas including Terrell, Murphy, Carrollton, Lewisville and Denton.

On February 17, 2016, Pearson was arrested in Dallas for assault family violence. On January 10, 2020, she was arrested again.

On December 28, 2022, an Asian-American woman named Ashley Park took to social media to share a video of Pearson making slant eyes. According to Park, she had been waiting for a parking spot at the NorthPark Center shopping mall in Dallas when Pearson appeared and stole the spot.

“She had come into a one-way lane, going the wrong direction, to steal a parking spot that I had clearly been waiting for,” Park explained in the video’s caption. “She got upset and made a racist gesture at me.”

According to Park, Pearson first made the racist gesture before being recorded. After Park pulled out her camera, the cosmetologist repeated the gesture while being recorded.

Pearson has yet to release a statement about the racist gesture she made. On June 15, 2024, her cosmetology license will expire.
