On December 18, 2022, de Vera crowned his successor Yoo Byeong Eun of South Korea at the Aura Rich Hall in Ban Ped, Mueang, Khon Kaen, Thailand. It was the first time the international beauty pageant founded by Joe Kampol Thongchai was held in person.
