Karolina Bielawska biography: 13 things about Miss World 2021

Karolina Bielawska is a Polish model and beauty queen. She is the second Miss World from Poland following Aneta Kręglicka, who was crowned in 1989.

Born in Łódź to Łukasz Bielawski and Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska, Karolina speaks Polish and English. Lukasz is the former president of ŁKS Łódź, a sports club based in Łódź, while Agnieszka is the dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management of Politechnika Łódzka in Łódź.

Tennis and badminton are Karolina’s favorite sports. She enjoys traveling, swimming and scuba diving.

In 2021, Karolina earned a bachelor’s degree in management at Politechnika Łódzka. Her undergraduate thesis was about the image of the Miss Polonia brand.

1. On November 24, 2019, she represented Łódź at Miss Polonia 2019 and competed against 19 other candidates at the Hotel Narvil Conference and Spa in Serock, Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. She won the title.
2. She was supposed to represent Poland at Miss World 2020, which was cancelled due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Amid the pandemic, she helped provide hot meals, food packages, drinks, clothing, masks, law advice and professional medical support for almost 300 people in need in Lodz.
3. On March 8, 2021, she crowned her successor Miss Polonia 2020 Natalia Gryglewska at the Arche Hotel Krakowska in Warsaw, Masovia, Poland.
4. In December 2021, she represented Poland at Miss World 2021 and competed against 96 other candidates in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was selected as one of the 40 quarterfinalists.
5. In January 2022, she collaborated with Zupa na Pietrynie-kuchnia, a volunteer organization in Łódź.
6. On March 16, 2022, she competed against 39 other quarterfinalists during the Miss World 2021 coronation night at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan and won the title. While holding the title, she was pursuing her master’s degree in business at Politechnika Łódzka.
7. On April 11, 2022, she visited the Polish Slavic Federal Credit Union in New York, United States where she received $20000 as a donation to Caritas in Łódź.

9. On August 12, 2022, she attended the Miss World Vietnam 2022 coronation night as a special guest at Merry Land in Quy Nhơn, Bình Định, Vietnam. On August 25, 2022, both she and Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuy Thuc Tien arrived at Kota Kinabalu International Airport in Sabah, Malaysia.
