Quinnton Xavier Roberson, 28, of Santa Ana, Orange County, California, United States was arrested in 2022 in connection with an incident in Orange County. He also has a prior conviction for assault with a deadly weapon.
After the arrest and the conviction, Roberson was released. At around 7:00 p.m. on January 16, 2023, he allegedly stalked a woman, 19, while she shopped and followed her to her vehicle at the MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana.
Roberson is accused of kidnapping the woman in the parking structure of the mall. He allegedly forced her to drive to a secluded parking lot in Orange, Orange County.
In the secluded area, Roberson allegedly sexually assaulted the woman, stole her personal property and fled the scene. The victim then drove to a nearby convenience store and called the Orange Police Department.
On January 18, 2023, the Santa Ana Police Department announced the arrest of Roberson. He was booked into the Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.
Bail for Roberson was set at $1 million. He was charged with kidnapping, robbery and sexual assault.
