Who is Balsam Hussein?

Balsam Hussein (بلسم حسين) is an Iraqi television presenter, model and beauty queen. Here are 13 more things about her:

She is also known as Balsam Ali.
She is a resident of Karkh, Baghdad, Iraq.
She speaks Arabic, Turkish and English.
She enjoys playing basketball and singing.
She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
She was born and raised in Baghdad.
She was a hair transplant specialist before becoming a TV presenter and a beauty queen.
She once helped a child with leukemia travel outside of Iraq.
She has visited several countries including India and Turkiye.

She was born in 1996.
After winning Miss Iraq 2022, she started working extensively with women and children affected by the war by establishing workshops for women and raising awareness in schools to support children’s education.
In 2024, she represented Iraq in the 71st edition of Miss World while working as a TV presenter at Alsumaria TV in Baghdad, Hussein.
