  1. Before becoming a police officer, he worked at a fast-food restaurant in Mississippi.
  2. From 2014 to 2015, he was a varsity football player in Center Hill High School in Olive Branch.
  3. In 2016, he graduated from Center Hill High School.
  4. In April 2018, he became the president of the Omega Psi Phi‘s Eta Zeta chapter at the University of Mississippi in University, Lafayette County, Mississippi.
  5. In May 2020, he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
  6. In August 2020, the Memphis Police Department in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee hired him.
  7. On January 7, 2023, he and his fellow Memphis Police Department officers Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith allegedly caused the injuries of Memphis resident Tyre Nichols, who was pronounced dead on January 10, 2023.
  8. On January 20, 2023, the Memphis Police Department fired him, Haley, Martin, Mills and Smith.
  9. On January 25, 2023, Memphis Police Department chief CJ Davis said he, Haley, Martin, Mills and Smith were found to be directly responsible for the physical abuse of Nichols.
  10. On the morning of January 26, 2023, he was arrested and booked into the Shelby County Jail in Memphis. In the afternoon, he posted $250,000 bond and was released.
  11. On January 27, 2023, video of the confrontation between Nichols, Smith, Haley, Martin, Mills and him was released.
  12. He was 24 years old when he pleaded not guilty on February 17, 2023 to second-degree murder, official oppression, aggravated kidnapping while possessing a weapon, aggravated assault – acting in concert, official misconduct thru unauthorized exercising of official power, two counts of aggravated kidnapping causing bodily injury and two counts of official misconduct through failure to perform a duty imposed by law.
  13. He is due back in court on May 1, 2023.

  1. Hopefully you are an only child with dead parents so no one in your family has to live with the shame and potential vengeance for your despicable, reprehensible betrayal of your own people. Hopefully what family you do have turns their back on you and you live your remaining days in general population. Get familiar with the term “Maytag”.

I know ur type tho-cops w daddy issues, big ass chip on ur shoulder, a wanna be lead man all big & bad, u were bullied in school, ur temper gets the best of u, most likely suffered from sexual & physical abuse but never recd help. All that so u could kill an innocent man. U thought u were above it all. Ur a piece of shit, useless mound of flesh. I pray TYRE NICHOLS HAUNTS U FOR THE REST OF UR LIFE &INTO ETERNITY.
