US Marshals offering $2,500 reward for information leading to arrest of Roswell, New Mexico’s Samantha Shull

Samantha Dennae Shull, 34, of Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico, United States knew Mario Delgado, Jr. of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico from a previous relationship. She and Jeffrey Contreras, 27, of Roswell are accused of killing Delgado, who died at age 47.

Shull has a criminal history in Texas, USA. She is 6’0″ tall and she weighs around 215 pounds.

Contreras allegedly fatally shot his fellow Roswell residents Johnny Pacheco Jr., 26, on January 22, 2021 and Anthony Vasquez, 57, on February 5, 2021. On February 6, 2021, Contreras and Shull fled from Roswell to Albuquerque because he was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.

On February 9, 2021, Shull contacted Delgado and they traded text messages. He gave her his address in Albuquerque so they could meet up before she returned to Roswell.

At 5:31 a.m. on February 10, 2021, Shull sent Delgado a text message and asked him if it was okay for her to stop by his trailer in Albuquerque before he went to work. Later that morning, he was found dead in his bedroom by his father Mario Delgado Sr.

On February 16, 2021, Roswell Police Department officers arrested Contreras outside a motel in Roswell. On March 10, 2023, he was charged with an open count of murder, armed robbery, tampering with evidence and felon in possession of a firearm in connection with Delgado Jr.’s death.

On the same day, Shull was charged with an open count of murder, armed robbery, tampering with evidence and conspiracy. On March 20, 2023, the U.S. Marshals Service issued a $2,500 reward for information leading to her arrest.
