Janick Alexandra Maceta del Castillo represented Peru in the 11th edition of Miss Supranational and the 69th edition of Miss Universe. These are two of the six grand slam international beauty pageants for women along with Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth and Miss Grand International.
BIOGRAPHY
Maceta is a Peruvian-American audio engineer, music producer, model and beauty queen. Her father was a police officer involved in anti-terrorist investigations while her mother Doris del Castillo was an English teacher.
Born in Lima, Peru, Maceta is the founder of Little Heroes Peru, a nonprofit foundation for children who are or have been victims of sexual violence. She also co-founded the Top of New York (TONY), a record label that digitizes and produces the musical content of young talents.

- On December 6, 2019, she represented Peru at Miss Supranational 2019 and competed against 76 other candidates at Katowice International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. She was third runner-up to Anntonia Porsild of Thailand.
2020
- On November 29, 2020, she represented the Peruvian community in the U.S. at Miss Peru 2020 and competed against 23 other candidates. She won the title.
2021
- On December 10, 2021, she took to social media to congratulate her mother, who just obtained a postgraduate degree in literature.
- On May 16, 2021, she represented Peru at Miss Universe 2020 and competed against 73 other candidates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA. She was second runner-up to Andrea Meza of Mexico.
- On August 18, 2021, she hosted the top model event of Mister Supranational 2021. She told Philippines’ candidate John Adajar that she liked his suit designed by Joe Riz Quinesio of Aklan, Philippines. After the coronation night at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Malopolska, Poland on August 22, 2021, Adajar gave the suit to her.
