Autumn Black is an American journalist and beauty queen from Kansas City, Missouri, United States. From 2012 to 2016, she attended Lee’s Summit West High School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

From 2016 to 2020, she attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri where she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism. At the university’s Center for Academic Success and Excellence, she was a communications intern from March 2018 to May 2020 and a senior marketing intern from October 2018 to May 2020.

From January 2019 to May 2019, Black was the digital audience development strategist of the University of Missouri’s Global Journalist. From May 2019 to May 2020, she was the vice president of the National Association of Black Journalists Alé student chapter at the university.

12. On May 21, 2023, she represented Kansas City at Miss Missouri USA 2023 and competed against 25 other candidates at The Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts in Branson. She won the title.
13. She was 24 years old when she represented Missouri at Miss USA 2023 on September 29, 2023 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA. She was unplaced.
