The Miss New Mexico USA 2023 coronation night will take place at the Center for the Arts of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States on June 3, 2023. It is the 70th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects New Mexico’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
Currently, New Mexico has 19 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Mai Shanley in 1984. The most recent one was in 2022 when Suzanne Perez finished in the Top 12.
On June 5, 2022, Perez was crowned Miss New Mexico USA 2022 at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Elizabeth Medina, Francesca Covino, Bianca Wright and Elizabeth Nelson.
