Theresa Gregg of Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States and Tishawn Folkes Taylor of Schenectady, New York have died. Gregg was 37 and Taylor was 44.
Taylor was the former wife of Timothy Taylor, 35, of Brooklyn. They have two children born in 2013 and 2017.
In 2021, Tishawn and Timothy divorced and she got an order of protection against him. After the divorce, he became Gregg’s boyfriend.
Gregg was a New York City Department of Homeless Services worker. She and Timothy and Gregg shared an apartment, a fourth-floor unit, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
On May 13, 2023, Timothy allegedly fatally stabbed Gregg inside the apartment they shared. Her two daughters found her dead in her bedroom and had multiple stab wounds to her neck and across the rest of her body.
On May 28, 2023, Tishawn was found dead at her apartment in Schenectady. Her two children were home when she died.
Timothy was named a person of interest. At around 11:20 a.m. on June 2, 2023, members of U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force tracked him to a bar on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and arrested him.
