Daryl Stagg, 60, of Pollock, Grant Parish, Louisiana, United States is a prominent Baptist leader in the central area of Louisiana. From 1980 to 1984, he attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana where he earned his bachelor’s degree in wildlife conservation.

From 1985 to 1988, Stagg attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana where he earned his master of divinity degree in missions and church growth. From March 2005 to February 2012, he was a missionary at Lake County Baptist Association in Lake County, Illinois, USA.

From 2007 to 2010, Stagg went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his doctor of ministry degree in denominational leadership. From September 2011 to September 2014, he served as a certified consultant at the Society of Church Consulting.

From March 2012 to August 2018, Stagg was the associational director of missions at Harmony Baptist Association in Sedalia, Missouri, USA. Since October 2018, he has been the associational mission strategist for the Big Creek and CenLa Baptist associations, according to the Louisiana Baptist Convention.

On June 8, 2023, Stagg was arrested and booked into the Grant Parish Detention Center in Colfax, Grant Parish. He was charged with first-degree rape, aggravated crimes against nature, indecent behavior with juveniles and three counts each of oral sexual battery.

Bond for Stagg was set at $500,000. He has yet to post bond.
