The Miss Kansas USA 2023 coronation night will take place at the Polsky Theatre of Midwest Trust Center on the Johnson County Community College campus in Overland Park, Kansas, Johnson County, Kansas, United States on June 18, 2023. It is the 66th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Kansas’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate from the U.S.
Currently, Kansas has 13 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Kelli McCarty in 1991. The most recent was in 2022 when Elyse Noe finished in the Top 12.
Representing Lawrence, Noe was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2022 at the B&B Live Performing Arts Theatre in Shawnee, Kansas on May 8, 2022. The first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Kirstin Bangs of Hutchinson, Darby Davis of Kansas City, Cara Rgnonti of Kechi and Ellie Green of Johnson County.
