A human trafficking operation was held in Lubbock, Texas, United States from June 19-20, 2023. It was conducted by the Lubbock Police Department’s Special Operations Division in conjunction with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office and Lubbock Fire Rescue.
One female was contacted and identified as a possible victim of human trafficking. She was not publicly named.
A total of 24 suspects were arrested. Here is the list:

In other news, Jaelind Klay “Valentino” Fountaine, 26, and Sarah “Peaches” Gonzales, 25, are accused of driving a girl under the age of 18 from New Mexico, USA to Texas from January 15, 2023 to March 5, 2023 in order to engage in prostitution and sexual activity. In March 2023, a child was recovered during a human trafficking investigation at a hotel in Abilene, Texas.
On June 15, 2023, Fountaine and Gonzales were arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center in Lubbock. They have been indicted on conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor, sex trafficking and attempted sex trafficking of a minor, interstate transportation to engage in prostitution, conspiracy to transport a minor with intent to engage in prostitution and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in prostitution.
This is not Fountaine’s arrest. On August 28, 2018, he was convicted of a felony offense of domestic assault with a prior conviction.
On January 27 2020, Fountaine received compensation for personally rendered prostitution services. In June 2020, a grand jury in Lubbock indicted him on a charge of promoting prostitution.
