The Miss Iowa USA 2023 coronation night will be held at the Valley High School Performing Arts Center in West Des Moines, Iowa, United States on June 24, 2023. It is the 71st edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Iowa’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
Currently, Iowa has 10 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Carol Morris in 1956 and the fifth runner-up finish of Carlyn Bradarich in 2014. The most recent one was in 2019 when Baylee Drezek finished in the Top 15.
Representing Central Iowa, Randi Estabrook was crowned Miss Iowa USA 2022 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in Des Moines, Iowa on May 21, 2022. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Abigaille Batu-Tiako of Oskaloosa, McKenzie Kerry of Des Moines, Hayley Buettell of Morning Sun and Caroline Sipiera of Quad Cities.
