1. He is one of Shahzada Dawood and Christine Dawood‘s two children.
2. He is Azmeh Dawood, Sabrinda Dawood and Samad Dawood‘s nephew.
3. He loved science fiction literature and volleyball and enjoyed playing with a Rubik’s cube.
4. In 2006, his sister Alina Dawood was born.
5. In 2014, his aunt Azmeh was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. From England, U.K., she and her husband Jonathan Bilal Lenihan move to Amsterdam, Netherlands so she would have easier access to medicinal cannabis.
6. In 2016, his father and his grandfather Hussain Dawood became citizens of Malta.

On June 18, 2023, he and his father died with Stockton Rush, Paul-Henri Nargeolet and Hamish Harding inside the OceanGate submersible Titan that imploded in the North Atlantic Ocean while en route to view the wreck of the Titanic. He expressed hesitation before the trip but he ended up going aboard the submersible to please his father, his aunt Azmeh told NBC News on June 22, 2023.
10. He died at age 19. On June 23, 2023, University of Strathclyde vice-chancellor Jim McDonald released a statement saying, “The entire Strathclyde community offers our deepest condolences to the Dawood family and all those affected by this terrible accident.”
