The Miss Ecuador 2023 coronation night will take place at the Recinto Ferial Dr. Alfonso Torres Ordóñez in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador on July 1, 2023. It is the 73rd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Ecuador’s Miss Universe and Miss International candidates.
Currently, Ecuador has three Miss Universe placements including the second runner-up finish of Constanza María Báez Jalil in 2013. Representing the South American country in the international beauty pageant, Lucía Isabel Vinueza Urjelles finished in the Top 12 in 1981 and María Susana Rivadeneira Simball finished in the Top 10 in 2004.
Representing Esmeraldas, Nayelhi González Ulloa was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2022 at Malecón Eloy Alfaro in Quevedo, Los Ríos, Ecuador on September 3, 2022 and her runner-up Georgette Kalil Roha of Guayaquil was crowned Miss International Ecuador 2023. The respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Samantha Quenedit Sánchez of Quito, Diana Puga Cadena of Quito, Juliana Robles Requelme of Machala and Landy Párraga Goyburo of Quevedo.
