- On December 20, 2019, he surprised the family of identical twins John Bowersmith and Dean Bowersmith with four gift cards at Sea Otters Swim Lessons in Loomis. The twins were both diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
- In February 2020, a female citizen walked up to him and expressed her gratitude towards the Place County Sheriff’s Office then handed him a St. Michael token and a card.
