Melissa Ingraham is a Bahamian environmental scientist and beauty queen with a vast background in Caribbean species identification and research experience in marine and terrestrial ecosystems. She has a passion for sustainability and tree planting. 

Ingraham has long been passionate about the protection and conservation of the Bahamas and its environment. She also enjoys gardening, landscaping, swimming and dancing and she loves cats and tacos.

  13. She was 26 years old when she represented the Bahamas at Miss Universe 2023 on November 18, 2023 and competed against 83 other candidates at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was unplaced.
