The Miss Universe Great Britain 2023 coronation night will be held at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport, Wales, United Kingdom at 7:00 p.m. on July 8, 2023. It is the 15th edition of the beauty pageant that selects Great Britain’s Miss Universe candidate.
In Miss Universe, only England participated in 1952 and from 1955 to 1960. England, Scotland and Wales were individually represented and from 1961 to 1990.
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were represented in Miss Universe by one candidate known as Miss United Kingdom in 1991 and Miss British Isles in 1992. England, Scotland and Wales were represented in Miss Universe by one candidate known as Miss Great Britain from 1993 to 2000 and from 2009 to 2021.
Currently, Great Britain has five Miss Universe placements. The most recent one was in 2021 when Emma Collingridge of Suffolk, England finished in the Top 16.
Noky Simbani of Derby, England was crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2022 at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport on July 9, 2022. Anglee Kumar of London, England was first runner-up while Paidamoyo Mangi of Manchester, England was second runner-up.
