The Miss Grand Philippines 2023 coronation night will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on July 13, 2023. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ Miss Grand International candidate.
In the same event, two more winners will be crowned. They will represent the Philippines in the next editions of Reina Hispanoamericana and Miss Tourism World.
Kimberly Karlsson of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines won the first edition of Miss Grand Philippines in 2014. The Philippines’ Miss Grand International candidates in 2013 and from 2015 to 2021 were the winners of the Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International title from Bb. Pilipinas.
Roberta Tamondong of San Pablo, Laguna, Philippines ranked fourth at Bb. Pilipinas 2022 and was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International 2022. Representing the Philippines, she finished in the Top 21 at Miss Grand International 2022 but was later promoted to Top 10, making her one of the five fifth runners-up.
Currently, the Philippines has six Miss Grand International placements including the first runner-up finishes of Nicole Cordoves in 2016 and Samantha Bernardo in 2020. Representing the Southeast Asian country in the Thailand-based international beauty pageant, Elizabeth Clenci was second runner-up in 2017 while Annalie Forbes and Parul Shah were third runner-up in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
There are 30 women competing for the Miss Grand Philippines 2023, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023 and Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023 crowns. I believe these are the candidates who will make it to the Top 16:
