Michelle Arceo Kain, 25, of Bagumbayan, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines has been crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023. She was one of the 30 candidates of the first edition of Miss Grand Philippines under Arnold Vegafria‘s directorship.
Arceo previously lived in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila and Borongan, Eastern Samar, Philippines. She was born in California, United States to an American father and a Filipino mother.
On March 31, 2017, Arceo won the “Gandang Filipina” competition of the GMA Network show “Wowowin.” On March 28, 2019, she won Ms. BodyCon 2019 at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila.
On September 15, 2019, Arceo finished in the Top 12 at Miss World Philippines 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. On October 3, 2021, she ranked sixth at Miss World Philippines 2021 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center Hall A in Subic Special Economic and Freeport Zone, Olongapo, Zambales, Philippines and was crowned Miss Environment Philippines 2021.
On April 2, 2022, Arceo represented the Philippines at Miss Environment International 2022 in Mumbai, India and was runner-up to Kayra Wouters of Belgium. On July 13, 2022, she was runner-up to Christelle Abello in the female category of Century Tuna Superbods 2022 at Harbor Garden Tent of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
On July 13, 2023, Arceo represented Bagumbayan at Miss Grand Philippines 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She ranked second and was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023.
It was Nikki Advincula de Moura, 29, of Cagayan de Oro who won the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 title. She and Arceo will represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam and Reina Hispanoamericana 2023 in Bolivia, respectively.
Aside from the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023 crown, Arceo also won several awards. She was Miss Hello Glow, Miss Aqua Boracay, Miss Stackey and Best in Swimsuit.
