Brazilian-Filipino model Nikki Advincula de Moura, 29, of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines has been crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2023. She bested 29 other candidates.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to a Brazilian father and a Filipino mother, de Moura moved from Brazil to the Philippines in 2016. She started modelling professionally in 2017.
On April 15, 2018, de Moura won Miss Governor’s Cup South 2018 at the Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City, Philippines, which was her first ever beauty pageant. On May 8, 2019, she won Miss Teen Philippines 2019 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
De Moura competed against 11 other contestants in “Supermodel Me” Season 6, which aired on AXN Asia and iQiyi from October 11, 2021 to December 13, 2021. She was runner-up to Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh of Vietnam.
On July 13, 2023, de Moura represented Cagayan de Oro at Miss Grand Philippines 2023 and competed against 29 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She won the title.
Also crowned were Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2023 Michelle Arceo Kain, 25, Bagumbayan, Quezon City, Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023 Herlene Nicole Policarpio Budol, 23, Angono, Rizal and Francine Fatima Tiongco Reyes, 19, Tarlac. Shanon Jumaylh S. Tampon, 26, Caloocan City and Charie Manalo Sergio, 23, Caluya, Antique were the respective first and second runners-up.
Aside from the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 crown, de Moura won several awards. She was Miss Careline, Miss Bench, Miss Philippine Airlines, Miss Photogenic and one of the five Skin Elements ambassadors.
On October 25, 2023, de Moura will represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2023 at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Reigning Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin, 27, of Brazil was one of the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 judges.
