Currently, Honduras has one Miss Universe placement, which is the Top 15 finish of Pastora Pagan in 1955. The Central American country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss Honduras from 1954 to 1955, by Señorita Honduras from 1967 to 1974 and from 1976 to 1989, from 1992 to 1994, from 1996 to 2002 and Miss Honduras Universe since 2007.

Miss Honduras Universo 2023

The Miss Honduras Universo 2023 coronation night will be held at the Club Hondureño Árabe in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on August 4, 2023. It is the 16th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Honduras’s Miss Universe candidate.

There are 20 women competing for the Miss Honduras Universo 2023 crown. Here are the candidates:

Representing San Pedro Sula, Rebecca Rodriguez was crowned Miss Honduras Universe 2022 at the Plaza de las Banderas in San Pedro Sula on June 30, 2022. The respective first and second runners-up were Jaanay Watkis Guerrero of Tegucigalpa and Michelle Pineda of La Ceiba.

On January 14, 2023, Rodriguez represented Honduras at Miss Universe 2022 and competed against 83 other candidates at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. She was unplaced.
