James Henry So, 27, of Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, United States is a cheer coach. He worked at Premier Athletics on Gothic Court in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee as a cheer coach.

In 2021, hidden cameras were reportedly found stashed throughout the women’s restroom and changing areas of Premier Athletics. The digital cameras contained around 60 videos of females, who were mostly minor, in various stages of undress.

On February 25, 2023, So allegedly sexually assaulted a female employee, then 17, of Premiere Athletics inside the cheerleading gym. It reportedly occurred during a single encounter.

On March 2, 2023, Premier Athletics received allegations of sexual misconduct pertaining to So and a fellow employee. On the same day, he was terminated and the allegations were reported to the Franklin Police Department, the U.S. All Star Federation and USA Cheer.

Since So’s removal, he has not been in any of Premier Athletics’ facilities. On July 13, 2023, he was arrested in Franklin and indicted.

So was charged with aggravated rape, two counts of sexual battery, three counts of rape and four counts of statutory rape. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail in Franklin.

On July 26, 2023, So will be arraigned. His bond was set at $300,000.
