Jazmin Paez, 18, of Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States has a son, 3. They lived in her mother’s house in Miami but she moved out in May 2023, leaving her son to her mother.

Recently, Paez was in a romantic relationship with an individual who did not like that she had a son. For this reason, the individual broke up with her.

After the breakup, Paez went on rentahitman.com and requested a hitman to kill her son. She allegedly sent pictures of her son and the exact location of where he was going to be.

Using a fake name, Paez asked for her son to be “possibly be killed” as soon as possible. She included July 20, 2023 as the deadline for the job’s completion.

Founded in 2005 by Robert “Bob” Innes, the parody hit-for-hire website regularly receives solicitations. Paez’s request was very specific as compared the others.

Innes called the Miami-Dade Police Department three times to report Paez’s request to their non-emergency number. On the third try, a detective was assigned to the case.

Acting as a hired hitman, the detective contacted Paez. They exchanged a series of text messages and she agreed to pay $3,000 for the job.

On July 18, 2023, Paez was arrested and charged with first-degree solicitation of murder and third-degree using a communications device for unlawful use. She told Miami-Dade Police Department officers that she did use Innes’s website to hire a hitman to kill her son.

On July 19, 2023, Paez appeared in court. She obtained legal representation through the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.

Bond for Paez was set at $15,000 bond. She was ordered to stay away from her son, who is in the custody of his relatives.
