Bradley Earl Reger is an American licensed nurse practitioner with a clinic in Susanville, Lassen County, California, United States. He has owned and operated several ambulance and lifeflight services in California and Nevada, USA including Mountain Lifeflight, Lassen Ambulance Service, Mountain EMS and Mountain Lifeflight of Nevada.
Owning affiliated non-profit organizations, Reger served as a church deacon, a youth group leader, a camp counselor, a wrestling coach, a teacher and a board member of various school boards. He was a leader of the Work and Witness missionary trips, which were associated with the Susanville Church of the Nazarene.
Reger allegedly used his position of authority to groom boys and continually grope their naked genitals for his own sexual pleasure not only in the U.S. but also in other countries including Poland, the Philippines and Ukraine. Here are 13 more things about him:
- In 1980, he graduated from California State University, Chico in Chico, California, USA with a bachelor’s degree in public administration.
- In 1986, he started being heavily involved in various Christian schools, summer camps, youth groups and church missions.
- In 2002, he graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, USA with a master’s degree in nursing.
- In 2003, he obtained his license as a nurse practitioner from the California Board of Registered Nursing. The Susanville Police Department eyed him in 2003, 2006 and 2007 based on multiple independent allegations of sexual abuse leveled by a dozen boys.
- Between 2004 and 2023, he visited 235 countries.
- Between 2006 and 2014, he allegedly sexually abused three different minor victims in different locations including Susanville, Nevada, Virginia, USA and Poland.
- In 2008, he convinced the parents of a boy, then 12, that boys need exposure to outdoor adventure and discussed the camping trips he led in Alaska, USA. He paid for the boy to join him on trips to Alaska and Reno, Nevada where he would give the boy a so-called physical exam, perform a genital inspection, check the boy’s entire nude body for moles and instruct the boy to get an erection so he could better view the mole. In 2009, he invited the boy and the boy’s family on a medical assistance mission to the Philippines. While in the Asian country, the boy came down with a cough, which he diagnosed as pneumonia. He convinced the family that the boy should stay with him in his hotel room in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines where he once again subjected the boy to a so-called physical exam that included a mole inspection.
- In 2013, his wife died.
- In February 2022, someone contacted the Church of the Nazarene and accused him of grooming him as a minor and molesting him from 2016 through 2020.
- In June 2022, the Church of the Nazarene opened its own investigation into him.
- In October 2022, a team of investigators contacted Zack Winfrey, one of the people he allegedly abused. In November 2022, Winfrey met with federal prosecutors in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.
- On July 6, 2023, he was seen attempting to engage a young girl whom he did not appear to know at the Reno–Tahoe International Airport in Reno. On July 7, 2023, he was arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents as he returned home from a trip to Colorado, USA.
- He was 67 years od when he was charged on July 20, 2023 with engaging in illicit sexual activity abroad, transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and coercion and enticement.
