The Miss Norway 2023 coronation ceremony will be held at the Design og arkitektur Norge (DOGA) in Oslo, Norway on August 5, 2023. It is the 72nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Norway’s Miss Universe and Miss International candidates.
Miss Norway 2023 will represent Norway at Miss Universe 2023 in San Salvador, El Salvador on November 18, 2023. The runner-up will represent the European country at Miss International 2023 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on October 26, 2023.
On August 13, 2022, Ida Anette Hauan of Trondheim, Trøndelag County, Norway was crowned Miss Norway 2022 at Arbeidersamfunnets plass (1) in Oslo while her runner-up Romée Riesanne Dahlen of Bjørkelangen was crowned Miss International Norway 2022. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Julie Dahlen Børresen of Bjørkelangen, Leni Kvalvåg of Kristiansund and Ida Sofie Skinlo Sæter of Bodø.
Currently, Norway has 17 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Mona Grudt in 1990. The most recent one was in 2005 when Helene Tråsavik finished in the Top 15.
Norway also has 12 Miss International placements including the coronation of Catherine Gude in 1988 and Anne Lena Hansen in 1995. The most recent one was in 1996 when Eva-Charlotte Stenset finished in the Top 15.
From 16 candidates, only 12 are left to compete for the Miss Norway 2023 crown. I believe these five finalists will make it to the top:
