At least 300 images and videos of what appear to contain child abuse sexual material were found in his phone and laptop. He was 68 years old when he was arrested on August 3, 2023. He was booked into the Utah County Jail in Spanish Fork, Utah and charged with first-degree felony count of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
