Guatemala currently has three Miss Universe placements. Representing the Central American country in the international beauty pageant, María del Rosario Molina Chacón finished in the Top 15 in 1955 and both Ilma Juieta Urrutia Chang and Jessica Maria Scheel Noyola finished in the Top 10 in 1984 and 2010, respectively.
Miss Universe Guatemala 2023
The Miss Universe Guatemala 2023 coronation ceremony will be held at the Gran Sala Efraín Recinos of Centro Cultural Miguel Ángel Asturias in Guatemala City, Guatemala on August 6, 2023. It is the 52nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
There are 16 women competing for the Miss Universe Guatemala 2023 crown. I believe these five candidates will make it to the top:

On August 31, 2018, Mariana Beatriz García Mejía was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2018 at Centro Cultural Miguel Ángel Asturias. After a two-year hiatus, Miss Grand Guatemala 2019 Dannia Guevara Morfin and Miss Grand International 2020 second runner-up Elizabeth Ivana de los Santos Batchelor were appointed Miss Universe Guatemala in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
On December 17, 2018, Garcia represented Guatemala at Miss Universe 2018 and competed against 93 other candidates at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She was unplaced.
On December 13, 2021, Guevara represented Guatemala at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. She was unplaced.
On January 14, 2023, Batchelor represented Guatemala at Miss Universe 2022 and competed against 82 other candidates at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. She was unplaced.
