The Miss New York USA 2023 coronation ceremony will be held at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College in Purchase, Harrison, Westchester County, New York, United States on August 6, 2023. It is the 72nd edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects New York’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
On June 4, 2022, Heather Nunez of Sugar Hill was crowned Miss New York USA 2022 at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in Niagara Falls, New York. Zoe McGrady, Michelle Leon, Marizza Delgado and Toni Pringley were the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up.
Currently, New York has 37 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Jackie Loughery in 1952, Mary Therese Friel in 1979 and Kimberly Pressler in 1999. The most recent one was in 2020 when Andreia Gibau finished in the Top 10.
