The Miss Universe Jamaica 2023 coronation ceremony will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston in Kingston, Jamaica on August 20, 2023. It is the 11th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Jamaica’s Miss Universe candidate.
On September 3, 2022, Toshami Calvin of St. Thomas was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2022 at the Grand Ballroom of the AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston. Rachel Silvera of St. Andrew was runner-up to Calvin while Shanique Singh of St. Catherine was second runner-up.
Currently, Jamaica has nine Miss Universe placements including the fourth runner-up finish of Kaci Fennell in 2014, the second runner-up finish of Davina Bennett in 2017 and the first runner-up finish of Yendi Phillips in 2010. The most recent one was in 2020 when Miqueal-Symone Williams finished in the Top 10.
