The Miss Universe Singapore 2023 coronation ceremony will be held at the Amber Lounge in Singapore on September 16, 2023. It is the 11th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Singapore’s Miss Universe candidate.
On October 17, 2022, Carissa Yap was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2022 at the Alcove at Caldwell House in the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Middle Education School (CHIJMES), Singapore. Yvonne Sashirekha and Denissia Li Xia Delangle were the respective first and second runners-up.
Currently, Singapore has three Miss Universe placements. Representing the Southeast Asian country, Kathie Lee Lee Beng finished in the Top 12 in 1983, Marion Nicole Teo finished in the Top 10 in 1987 and Nandita Banna finished in the Top 16 in 2021.
On April 8, 2023, Tony Barbagallo and Sophia Barbagallo of PinkTank Events became the new Miss Universe Singapore national directors. Miss Universe Singapore 2011 Valerie Lim was the national director from 2019 to 2022.
On August 2, 2023, the seven Miss Universe Singapore 2023 finalists were sashed at Furama Resort Danang in Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Danang City, Vietnam. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 3 candidates:
