Anna Sueangam-iam (แอนนา เสืองามเอี่ยม) competed in the 23rd edition of Miss Universe Thailand. She represented Thailand in the 71st edition of Miss Universe.

BIOGRAPHY

Sueangam-iam is a German-Thai actress and beauty queen born and raised in a slum in Bangkok, Thailand. Her parents worked as garbage collectors for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in Bangkok and as a child, she played with toys her parents found in the trash.

When Sueangam-iam was young, she had to collect merit points, donate blood every semester, collect plastic waste bottles and clean public restrooms to cover her tuition fees. To protect her from an unsafe environment, her family sent her to a temple where she grew up among Buddhist nuns. 

On November 10, 2025, Sueangam-iam turned 28. Here are 10 more things about her:

  • On July 1, 2018, she was crowned Miss Mobile Thailand 2018.

2020s

  • On August 1, 2020, she competed against 29 other candidates Miss Thinn Thai Ngarm 2020 at the Lake Hall of ESC Park Hotel Rangsit in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani, Thailand. She, Natchapha Rattanasuwan and Phitchaya-on Wanarat were second runners-up to Lapatthida Khongkrapart.
  • In October 2020, she graduated from Kasetsart University.
  • On December 13, 2020, she competed at Miss Thailand 2020 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Mueang Chiang Mai , Chiang Mai, Thaland. She did not make it to the Top 5.
  • On July 30, 2022, she competed against 29 finalists at Miss Universe Thailand 2022 at True Icon Hall in Bangkok and won the title.
  • In December 2022, she traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
  • On January 14, 2023, she represented Thailand at Miss Universe 2022 and competed against 83 other candidates at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. She was unplaced but she won the Social Impact Award.
  • In March 2023, she traveled to Seoul, South Korea.
  • In May 2023, she visited different parts of the U.S. including Houston, Texas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Denver, Colorado; Saint Paul, Minnesota; Bloomington, Minnesota; Livingston, New Jersey and New York City, New York.
  • On July 18, 2023, she reunited with her fellow Miss Universe 2022 alumna R’Bonney Gabriel, Divita Rai, Evlin Khalifa, Monique Riley, Hrafnhildur Haraldsdottir and Ndavi Nokeri for the launch of Miss Universe’s line of beverages at IconSiam in Bangkok.
  • In June 2023, she traveled to Istanbul, Turkiye.
