Malou Posborg Peters won the 58th edition of Miss Danmark. It is a national beauty pageant that selects Denmark’s Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International candidates.

As Miss Danmark 2022, Peters was supposed to represent Denmark at Miss Universe 2022. However, she withdrew from the competition before the coronation ceremony on January 14, 2023 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.
