Federal Bureau of Investigation agents raided several locations across Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States on August 29, 2023. It was part of a drug investigation called Operation Frozen River.
Aside from the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation and the Louisville Metro Police Department were also involved in the operation. They were assisted by the Jeffersonville, Indiana Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Kentucky State Police and the Shepherdsville Police Department.

The FBI agents served warrants related to the operation that led to a series of indictments charging 31 Louisville residents and three residents of Indiana, USA. They are all accused of conspiring to distribute meth or fentanyl.
