Avriel Rose Hooks, 20, of Lynchburg, Virginia, United States is 5’5″ tall. She has blue eyes and dyed red hair.
Hooks is Ashley Pittman‘s daughter and Lydia Page‘s sister. In March 2023, Hooks and Michael L. Perry III, 21, of Lynchburg welcomed their first son.
At around 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 2023, Pittman took Hooks home after work. That evening, Hooks was wearing a black tank top and black leggings and she had pink nail polish.
At around 6:00 a.m. on August 23, 2023, Pittman received a text message from Hooks’ number, saying Hooks was at a friend’s house and she needed some “me time”. According to the mother, it did not seem like it was written by her daughter.
Later that day, Pittman went to Hooks’ house to check on her. The lights were on and the door was unlocked.
However, Hooks was nowhere to be found. Pittman went to the Lynchburg Police Department and reported her daughter missing.
There is an area in Lynchburg where Hooks frequently traveled. On August 27, 2023, detectives worked with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management to search that area but did not find her.
