Kenneth Wayne Bickerstaff, 61, of Grand Bay, Mobile County, Alabama, United States previously lived in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, USA, in Temperance, Michigan, USA and in Toledo, Ohio, USA. Aside from Grand Bay, he has lived in other parts of Alabama including Theodore, Mobile, Chickasaw and Daphne.
Bickerstaff is accused of accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a woman by forcible compulsion. He is also accused of engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with someone who was less than 16 years of age and more than 12 years old age.
On June 16, 2023, Bickerstaff was indicted on rape and sodomy. The charges are based on the law in existence prior to September 2019, according to the indictment.
This means the alleged crimes were not recently committed. However, they were not reported until recently.
On August 28, 2023, Bickerstaff was arrested. He was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail in Mobile.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Department maintains a satellite office in Grand Bay. Every July 4, the Grand Bay Watermelon Festival is held in the unincorporated community.
