Movie World in Gold Coast, Queensland. Annalise Dalins of Melbourne, Ciara Grehan of Gold Coast, Hanni Rose Howe of Adelaide and Alana Deutsher-Moore of Gold Coast were the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up.

On July 29, 1972, Wells represented Australia at Miss Universe 1972, competed against 60 other candidates at the Cerromar Beach Hotel in Dorado, Puerto Rico, United States and won the title. On June 1, 2004, Hawkins represented Australia at Miss Universe 2004, competed against 79 other candidates at the Centro de Exposiciones y Convenciones Mitad del Mundo (CEMEXPO) in Quito, Ecuador and won the title.

On January 14, 2023, Riley represented Australia at Miss Universe 2022 and competed against 83 other candidates at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She finished in the Top 16.
