The Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2023 coronation ceremony will take place at the Westin Grand Cayman, Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa in George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on September 2, 2023. It is the 46th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Cayman Islands’ Miss Universe candidate.
On August 6, 2022, Tiffany Conolly of West Bay was crowned Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2022 at the Westin Grand Cayman, Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa. George Town’s Chloe Powery-Doxey and Hayley Grizzel were the respective first and second runners-up.
However, on November 8, 2022, Powery-Doxey was officially announced as the new Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2022. Conolly was dethroned while she was facing legal proceedings related to assault, property damage and disorderly conduct.
The Cayman Islands has yet to have a Miss Universe placement. Representing the British Overseas Territory in the international beauty pageant, Dealia Walter and Maureen Lewis won the Miss Congeniality award in 1980 and 1982, respectively.
There are five women competing for the Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2023 crown. I believe these three candidates will make it to the top:
