Lujane Yacoub ( لجين يعقوب ) is a Bahraini-American actor, artist, dancer, model and beauty queen based in Hamala, Bahrain. She is an active volunteer in several local organizations in Bahrain teaching children what she loves most, which is arts.
Yacoub’s Bahraini father Yasser Yacoub is a civil engineer and managing director of a multinational architectural and engineering consulting firm. Her American mother Christy Burton, a former first grade teacher at the Modern of Knowledge School in Manama, Bahrain, founded the Bahrain Dance Academy in Hamala.
Raised in the United Arab Emirates, Lujane grew up with a processing disorder. She was failing most subjects before being properly diagnosed in fourth grade.
Lujane’s advocacy is empowering children through art and helping the less fortunate. Among the actors she admires are Miss World Malaysia 1983 Michelle Yeoh and Miss USA 1986 first runner-up Halle Berry.

She said, “I don’t stick to a linear plan and constantly add or change around elements until I’ve layered enough to create a final piece. - She starred in the music video of Xenai‘s song “Tell Me Why You’re Awake”, which was released on May 18, 2022.
- On September 11, 2022, she competed against six other Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 finalists. She was runner-up to Evlin Khalifa.

- On September 2, 2023, she competed against six other Miss Universe Bahrain 2023 finalists and won the title.
- She was 19 years old when she represented Bahrain at Miss Universe 2023 on November 18, 2023 and competed against 83 other candidates at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was unplaced.
- In 2024, she will enter the University for Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey, England, United Kingdom.
