Valeria María Ayos Bossa of Cartagena, Colombia competed against 23 other Miss Universe Colombia 2021 candidates and won the title on October 18, 2021. Señorita Colombia 2019 María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea of Quindio, Colombia was officially appointed Miss Universe Colombia 2022 on April 6, 2022.
Miss Universe Colombia 2023 predictions
On September 2, 2023, Aristizabal will crown her successor at Puerta de Oro Centro de Eventos del Caribe in Barranquilla, Colombia. It is the third edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of Colombia.
Currently, Colombia has 38 Miss Universe placements including the coronations of Luz Zuluaga in 1958 and Paulina Vega in 2014. The country was represented in the international beauty pageant by the winner of Señorita Colombia from 1958 to 2019.

On May 16, 2021, she represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2020, competed against 73 other candidates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States and finished in the Top 21.
On December 13, 2021, Ayos represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2021, competed against 79 other candidates at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel and finished in the Top 5. On January 14, 2023, Aristizabal represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2022, competed against 82 other candidates at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States and finished in the Top 16.
