On the evening of April 27, 2023, Wallace barricaded himself in his home in College Station and had an altercation with the College Station Police Department, which worked to resolve the incident. It caused the surrounding areas in College Station to be temporarily shut down.
On the morning of April 28, 2023, Wallace surrendered peacefully. He was arrested and charged with obstruction or retaliation and discharge firearm in certain municipalities.
