Cole Corrigan biography: 13 things about Morro Bay, California fitness trainer

Cole Charles Corrigan is an American man from Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. He is a fitness trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the International Sports Science Association.

Aside from Morro Bay, Corrigan has lived in other parts of California including San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County. He owns CCC Fitness, a 24-hour women-only gym in San Luis Obispo.

Between 2006 and 2008, he had seven convictions for various crimes, including a felony drug charge, public intoxication, driving under the influence and prowling. Despite these convictions, he was able to open CCC Fitness.

1. From 2003 to 2006, he attended San Luis Obispo High School in San Luis Obispo.
2. On October 2, 2007, he was arrested after being caught trespassing on the residence of a woman in her 20s in Los Osos, San Luis Obispo County. She knew who he was because she went to school with him at Baywood Elementary School. Charged with prowling and trespassing, he pleaded guilty to prowling only while the trespassing charge was dismissed. On October 4, 2007, he was released to serve his one year of probation.
3. At around 3:00 a.m. on October 13, 2007, he was found walking naked in Los Osos and appearing to be under the influence of illegal drugs. He reportedly failed to cooperate with seven San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office deputies so they shot him with beanbag and PepperBall ammunition, pepper sprayed him, struck him with batons and Tasered him. He was treated at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
4. On October 14, 2007, he underwent surgery for a broken jaw at a hospital in Fresno, Fresno County, California. He pleaded guilty to obstructing or resisting the work of a public official with threats and/or violence and was sentenced to three years’ probation. He was later convicted of a felony drug charge, which disqualifies him from being able to legally purchase or possess a firearm and ammunition.
5. In 2011, he earned his associate’s degree in exercise science from the ISSA College of Exercise Science.
6. In 2018, he graduated from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo County with an associate’s degree in nutrition. In the same year, all of his seven convictions between 2006 and 2008 were purged.
7. On February 7, 2021, he was at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

9. On July 2, 2023, he visited Pirate’s Cove in Avila Beach, California. On July 27, 2023, he was in Paso Robles, California.
10. On August 23, 2023, San Luis Obispo resident Maria Lerno, then 22 and pregnant, found a GoPro camera concealed in a white towel placed in a mop bucket inside a restroom of CCC Fitness. He allegedly installed the hidden camera.
11. On August 30, 2023, CCC Fitness took to Instagram to identify him as the target of an investigation. On August 31, 2023, the post was deleted and the gym was closed.
12. On September 13, 2023, San Luis Obispo Police Department officers arrested him during the search of his residence in Morro Bay, which turned up drugs and a gun without a serial number. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail in San Luis Obispo and charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a ghost gun and possession of a controlled substance.
13. He was 35 years old when he was arrested on September 13, 2023. He was no longer in custody as of September 14, 2023.
